Live Training: Custom Geographies in Chart
Learn how to use Chart to create and get data for custom geographies. This training is for anyone who wants to tell data stories about places like study areas, downtowns, business improvement districts, hospital service areas, library service areas, and other relevant, non-Census geographies.
(Note: We've already pre-loaded many non-Census geographies, including neighborhoods and city council districts! This training will focus on how to create any geographical boundary not already included in Chart.)
Recurring sessions hosted every Thursday.
Live Training: Uploading Data to Chart
First, learn about the critical role that place plays in Chart, as this is a prerequisite for being able to successfully upload data into the tool.
Then, learn how to prepare data files so that you can upload, manage, and use your own data to create visualizations and elevate data stories.
We'll conclude by showing you how to create maps and other visualizations using your data.
