As an Editor, you can invite other people from your organization to create posts or questions on your public profile. They will also be Editors, and can edit and make adjustments to your profile.

As an Editor, you can also drive traffic to your mySidewalk public profile by inviting Participants to join in on the conversation by responding to your posts and interacting with your profile.

Inviting Editors

There are two ways to invite other Editors - through email or by generating a code.

  1. Within your organization's public profile, click either the People tab on the right side menu, OR click the icon with the person and "+" sign on the right of your cover image, and then click Invite Editors
  2. Option 1 - Invite via email: Add the person's email address in Send Invite Email To. Click Invite Editor.
Note: only one email address can be added at a time.
  1. Option 2 - Generate a code: Click Generate Code. You will need to send the person both the code you generated, and this link: mysidewalk.com/invitations/redeem. They can then click on the link, and will enter the code and be added as an Editor to your profile page.
Note: This is helpful if you have any spam filters that might hold the email invitation from being received by the person.

To check on the status of an invitation, go to the bottom of your invitation page to see who has accepted so far.

Inviting Participants
