How To Save Your Dashboard or Report as a PDF

Learn how to turn a feature on your dashboard or report so that users cans save or print it as a PDF.

When to Use This Feature

At mySidewalk, our focus is on digital transformation. Still, sometimes you need flexibility in how you share information. The Download as PDF option lets you:

  • Communicate and share dashboards in different contexts.

  • Easily prepare documents for official processes (for example, public health partners applying for accreditation or reaccreditation).

Step 1: Open Your Dashboard or Report

  1. Go to app.mysidewalk.com.

  2. Navigate to the dashboard or report you want to download.

  3. Open the Share settings on the right-hand side of the screen.


Step 2: Enable Download as PDF

To allow a dashboard or report to be downloaded:

  • Make the content public by clicking on Publish Settings and selecting Published - Public.

  • Check the box for Allow download to PDF.

  • Choose whether to allow downloads of:

    • The entire document, or

    • Individual pages.

Tip: Large dashboards with many components may not download as one file. For best results, enable downloads for individual pages.

Step 3: Download as PDF

Once enabled:

  1. Click View Dashboard.

  2. Select the Download PDF button.
