At mySidewalk, we’re all about digital transformation, but we've provided the option to download as a PDF for more flexibility in communicating and sharing information in whatever context best fits your situation.

A great example is when a public health partner is applying for accreditation or reaccreditation. Having the ability to quickly and easily download as a PDF and print a CHA or CHIP Dashboard can make the submission process a breeze!

From data.mysidewalk.com, navigate to the dashboard or report you want to download as a PDF. Once you have your dashboard open, you’ll open the share settings on the right hand side of the screen.

To allow a dashboard or report to be downloaded to a PDF, you’ll need to make it public. Click on the Publish Settings and select “Published - Public”.

Then, check the box next to “Allow download to PDF”. You can choose to allow viewers the ability to download the whole document and/or individual pages.

Tip: Large dashboards with many components affect the ability to download the whole document. We recommend allowing individual pages to be downloaded and using that feature.

Once you’re ready to download your dashboard or report as a PDF, click “View Dashboard” and you will see a button “Download PDF”.

When you download a PDF of your dashboard, by default, the global header is included on each page; however, if you want to keep the header on the first page and remove it for the rest of the pages, this video walks you through the steps.
